I have included a variety of letters of reference. My teaching experience is from a variety of sources:
1) Corporate - I have letters available by request only from various corporate clients for whom I have trained and motivated employees and executives in the use of their communication skills in business, particularly in sales and marketing.
2) Artistic/Academic - Both in and out of the university environment, I have worked with actors and writers as a facilitator.
Michael Bartell was head of Mass Communication Studies at Emersen College in Boston, one the top programs in the world. He and I worked together on a variety of projects in business and in artistic performance workshops.
Mardik Martin wrote and coproduced with Martin Scorscese on many films including Raging Bull which won the Oscar for best picture and now teaches in the film school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, the top film school in the world. He was Master's thesis advisor and a writing professor of mine for two years. He is very familiar with my academic and artistic work. He has also observed my leadership skills in the classroom.
3) Academic Teaching - I have studied with great professors and worked with others from whom I have learned excellent skills and practices. In the United States, Japan and Latin America I have helped many students learn and maximize the use of English.
Dennis Atkinson has been the English Chair for many years at the Lincoln School in San Jose, Costa Rica, the most highly rated International Baccalaureate school in Latin America. He observed my academic writing, curriculum development, and teaching skills very closely for one year as I taught US College-bound Seniors World & Contemporary Literature and Photo-journalism.
